An extremely nice 53 year old out of Phoenix, Arizona came to our office to discuss a tummy tuck. She is healthy and was looking for increased definition in her abdomen. She expressed that she would love a flatter tummy and to get rid of any loose skin. She wanted a tummy which was tight and firm. Fortunately, she is in really good shape and her muscles would not require a lot of work. To accomplish her goals, we took her to surgery and performed her tummy tuck with muscle repair. To keep her comfortable, I inserted a pain reducing pump which is used for 3 days after surgery. Some power assisted liposuction was done at the hips and this helped also to trim her waistline. The before and after photos at 2 months demonstrate the flatness of her new tummy, the lack of rolls, and the overall improvement of her body.
